The Swedish Choral Conductors' Association

The Swedish Choral Conductors' Association (FSK) is striving to support and strengthen the role of the choral conductor through development of competence, inspiration and by taking a significant part in the public cultural debate. Every year a convention for choral conductors is organized and the magazine Körledaren (The Choral Conductor) is published four times a year. FSK is also a co-organizer of courses for choral leaders. FSK was formed in 1986 and has currently about 500 members. An important aspect of the association´s work is cooperating with other choral and cultural organizations.
